Waste Of Space Monday - Southwest Houston Dentist

Wasteofspace.jpg

Well, Tammy, who still hates people, and the rest of the group have done such a good job of covering all the WOS stories the past couple of weeks, I haven't had to add my two cents. But today, I have a story that I just needed to post.

Ok, let me set the scene. A responsible parent takes their 2 year old daughter, Jessenia Valles, to the dentist. The parent is not allowed to enter the exam room with Jessenia, but inquires about her daughter on numerous occasions after hearing her baby cry. The dentist and hygenists assure her that Jessenia is fine.

Then a little while later, the nurse walks out the door carrying an UNCONSCIOUS Jessina and walks to the doctor's office next door. An ambulance is called and Jessina is rushed to the hospital...where she is pronounced Dead.

The dentist, Dr. Robert Choy's, only comment is that he doesn't know what happened. To top it off, Choy has been warned in the past by the State Board of Dental Examiners because he wasn't keeping good records. Yep, he got away with a slap on the wrist for that. Now maybe someone will wake up and do something.

So what happened to her?

If that were my child, there would be 1 less dentist in the world.

Note to self: Houston + Dentists = BAD. WTF?! What dentist doesn't let a parent in with a two year old during an EXAM? Thats all kinds of fishy!

This is the 2nd child recently to die at the dentist. SCARY SHIT.

OB, most dentists have the parents wait outside. It's easier on the kid that way.

Yeah, I heard about this one.
Freakin' loonie.
I had a strange happenning with my oral surgeon. I went in to have a baby tooth extracted for an implant (yup, a baby tooth) along with all my wisdom teeth. That's uh, 5 teeth, yes? When I got home and started to heal, I realized he had only pulled a total of 4 teeth. WTF? So, I had to go back to the asshat to have him pull the wisdom tooth he missed. What a loser!
They're all quacks if you ask me and they shouldn't be aloud to practice surgery w/out some sort of...well, whatever it is that surgeons need to operate!
Ok, sorry I took up so much of your comment room with that rant, but as you can see, I'm touched by your post.
