My Letter To Santa

santaletter.jpg

I hope this letter finds you well and not overworked at the beginning of this Christmas season. I apologize for my absence and because it has been so long since I have written. This has been quite a year for me and as 2005 draws to a close, I find myself trying to refocus my life on those things that truely matter.

My first wish for this Christmas is for health. This has been a crazy year in that department (especially since August) and I'm quite sure you are aware of all that I have been thru. I am hoping for a doctor that will work with not only trying to make me feel better but also actively work to lower the amount of medications that I am on.

I will be moving next week and I am hoping for a few items to decorate my new home with. I would really like a jewelry box (something like this one) with a necklace compartment. I have a lot of (costume) necklaces and stuff that I have bought to match certain outfits, but I can either not find them when it comes time to wear them, or they are so tangled up with the others that I run out of time trying to get it loose.

I would also like to have a new DVD player. Mine decided to start skipping and freezing on me and I haven't been able to watch a movie since probably May. When I first moved up here to go to school and work, that was my favorite thing to do on Friday nights. Order a pizza and curl up on the couch with a good movie. Of course, I usually fell asleep before the movie was over and had to finish it the next morning, but it still served as a wonderful relaxing way to end the week.

Lastly, I would like a Rolling Kitchen Island with a Butcher's Block. My new condo has a dining room and a small open corner in the kitchen. I really don't need two dining areas as I normally eat in front of either the TV or the computer. But I would love to have a nice cutting board / butchers block and a nice cart with shelves to hold all my cookbooks.

Also, my babies, Zack and Zane have asked me to include their Christmas List with mine. They would both like to have new beds for Christmas. Their grandparents started using their older brother, Char Cole's big bed as the "time out" place, so as I'm sure you can understand, it just isn't that much fun to sleep there any more.

Thank you so much Santa for always taking care of us every Christmas. You are definitely an inspiration to us all.

Love

I'm visiting you back. You came by way of RandomandOdd on and SPF, I believe. I really like your new blog and I think it's so inspirational that you're following your dream. It's nice to "meet" you.

Good Santa letter. I do hope he brings you your health, of nothing else!
