Indecision

Tonight I won't be going home. I will be spending the night at the hospital hooked up to all kinds of wires and equipment while they monitor every thing my body does while I sleep. Or, more correctly they are going to see how my mind keeps running in circles while my body stays in one position until it goes numb, and then I have to wake up and turn over, wait for whichever body part was numb to calm down and then attempt to get my entire body back into a comfortable position while my Obsessive Complusive Disorder frantically tries to remember which circle it was running around when it was so rudely interrupted by the numb body part.
With gasoline back up to $3.00 a gallon, I packed my suitcase and decided to just stay at work until time to go get dinner and then to the hospital at 8pm. Since I will be at work pretty much all day, I did something I almost never do. Just before 1pm, I left for lunch, and I took an ENTIRE hour break. I decided I wanted something "different" for lunch today. And let me tell you... Different is what I got.
I ended up at Tabla Indian Bistro in Irving. I have had Indian food before, but I didn't recognize anything on this buffet spread. I moved the serving utensils around in a few of the dishes before deciding which to try. There were a few things I put on my plate and don't get me wrong... it wasn't horrible by any means. It was just different. I ate enough to stop the signals being sent from my stomach to my brain signalling hunger, which is supposed to be the purpose in the first place, right?
But, here it is... 2:54pm. I've been back at my desk for exactly an hour. And I still can't decide... if I liked it or not. I wanted something different for lunch. Mission Accomplished.
I'm thinking I'll stick to something I know for dinner.

I hope everything goes ok for you tonight (all things considering).
I like Indian food too, but other than the various Samosas, I didn't recognize anything either! My goodness, that's a HUGE menu.
Take care and hang in there!
