Episode # 10 "Blood Work Results" Of:

AS THE TONSIL FALLS

Well, if you recall back in Episode #8 (09/06/05) I went to visit "TheDrugDealer" and they drew six things of blood out of my right arm. They called me today with the results. They said that I had Anaemia due to a Folic Acid (B9)and B12 Deficiency. I looked up both of those vitamins and what I needed to eat to fix the deficiency.

The list for B12 consisted of :

  • Fish
  • Liver
  • Pork
  • Milk
  • Cheese

YUM, YUM, YUM, YUM, & YUM.

The list for B9 consisted of :

  • Carrots
  • Yeast
  • Liver
  • Egg Yolks
  • Melons
  • Apricots
  • Pumpkin
  • Avacado
  • Beans
  • Rye & Whole Weat
  • Green Leafy Vegetables

YUCK, EH, YUM, BLECH, YUM, YUM, NOT IN SEASON, FOODGASUM, YUM, EH, EH.

So, I left work, went to class, went home, changed clothes and then went and had a Prime Rib, Baked Sweet Potato, Ceasar Salad, Rye Bread & Coconut Shrimp at Outback Steakhouse.

That at least took care of the Fish, Beef, Cheese, Yeast, Egg Yolks, Rye Green Leafy Vegetables off of that list. I can't afford to eat like that every night so I guess I'm going to have to go buy some B12 and Folic Acid pills to swallow.

folic acid deficiency shouldn't cause anemia & you can get both of those if you just take a daily multi-vitamin - did they not give you a scrip for iron?

Because if not, you can get what you need from a multi-vitamin.
