Stuff Portrait Friday - (Late Again.)
This is my bed. I still haven't found a new bedspread but I look in all the ads
every weekend. I am getting tired of the teddybear collection and am ready to
start upgrading my home decor to match my upcoming upgrading of my age.
I have found the stoneware that I plan on using as the starting point to match
the decor with. The stoneware comes in four different colors, and I plan on
mix-matching the burgundy, gold, and green. The glassware I want is blue and is
amazingly close to the glassware that has been sitting in my parent's china
cabinet all my life.
My next goal will be to find new couch covers for the sofa and loveseat. Then I
will find a new bedspread set and matching shower curtain and bath dishes. And
at some point, I will have to replace all the appliances in the kitchen that
have teddybears on them. I may end up selling all of this stuff on ebay to
finance my redecoration plans.
This is my dresser. It matches the nightstand and bed and was given to me by my
paternal grandmother before she passed away in June 2001.
The bottom two drawers are all pajamas. I love buying new pajamas, I guess you
could say it is one of my weaknesses. The bottom left drawer are all cold weater
pajamas and the bottom left drawer are for the other 50 weeks of the year.
The big drawer in the middle is full of a multitude of different colored socks.
The other two drawers on the middle row serve as home to white socks, hose &
trouser socks, pantyhose & bathing suits. The top two drawers are the two
drawers that are nearly impossible to keep organized.. the boulder-holders and
undies.
These are my favorite pajamas. Soft cotton and barely there. From Christmas 1988
until January 7, 2005... this California Queen Waterbed was what I called home
every night. If you have ever slept on a waterbed you know that it takes a while
to adjust the temperature if it gets too hot or too cold. If it was too cold I
could just wear the pajamas from the bottom left drawer that I don't get to wear
much in Texas weather, but when its too hot.. there is only so much you can take
off and still have something on.

Baby, I have a nice comforter that you can HAVE!! And plenty of other
crap...You've got to get rid of those bears!!SCARY!!!!

I have to say thank goodness you're getting rid of the teddies - they're just
not very "over 25" :) I like that dresser, though!
