Baby Connor
Baby Connor was two months old on Sunday. He is up to 5 pounds 4 ounces. I haven't gone back to the hospital to visit with them because I have been sick and was not going to expose them to anything that could make him sick.
Baby Connor is having his second brain surgery today at noon. Please send your thoughts and prayers to this sweet little baby. There should be one more surgery next week to install a permanent shunt and then hopefully Baby Connor will be able to finally go home not long after that.
I will update later today with any progress that I hear. His mom is mailing me pictures as the computer at the Ronald McDonald house they are staying at is giving her fits and wont let her attach the pictures to an email.

Here is the email that I received on Sunday.
Thank you all for your continued prayers for Connor! He is enjoying his first Father's Day with Richard as well as his two month birthday today. He is up to 5lbs. 4 ozs.
He is successfully breastfeeding and has a very strong will to succeed. (This is a very big deal because "statistically" children with neurological problems have a hard time learning to eat! Not Connor! He has always beat the odds though! He heard that we could possibly be home in a couple of weeks!
Please pray for him Tuesday at 12:00p.m. He has to have another brain surgery. This time they have to go in a poke a hole in between the ventricles to make them communicate. A week after this he will have his permanent shunt placed.
We love and miss you all and are very anxious for the day that we can go home!
I'M HOPING TO HEAR SOMETHING MORE TODAY. WILL UPDATE WHEN I DO.

I completely take my girls' health for granted until I read things like this.
Yea for his weight gain and may this surgery help to bring him home.

I have a friend that gave birth to a 2 pound baby and the weight gain is a major hurdle. I will include him in my prayers.
