Unpacked and Organized

Well, last night about 5:30 a friend showed up at my old office to help me load my car up. All of my worldly possessions in the office of the infamous ExcelLady and all of the files and work stuff that I have accumulated since April.

We loaded up my car and then it took us nearly 45 minutes to get to my apartment, traffic was horrible, but I kept telling myself it was the last time I was going to have to sit in that traffic.

This morning, I left my apartment at 7:38, I went thru Starbucks and got a GingerBread Latte and an Cranberry Oatmeal granola bar, and I still made it to work at 7:58. Since today was my first day at the new office I didn't have an access key card to get in, so I stood outside with two gentlemen who had a meeting in the same building until the receptionist finally showed up and heard us buzzing at the door.

I spent the first three hours this morning unloading my car, hooking up my computer and organizing my desk. I actually sat down to do a little work and then got to go eat lunch with a lady I work with. She used to work with me at the other office but for some reason I will never understand, she got to move over to this office when it opened in July and I had to wait thru the ExcelLady's SuperDuper PowerTrip until November before I was allowed to move.

It's 2:20, I guess I should pretend to get something done today, although I would rather just organize stuff for another 4 hours and then get to work tomorrow. Lets see how much I can think to blog about before I make that decision.
