I Hate Holiday Bugs

coldbug.jpg

Well Tuesday I woke up with a little bit of a sore throat. Wednesday I was coughing a bit but not enough to really bother me. We got to leave work early on Wednesday and I drove straight home to "TheArmpitOfHell".

I fell asleep on my parents couch before my dad even went to bed at 8pm. I slept until about 11:30 and then I went to bed about 12:30 and slept till 9am Thanksgiving morning. I spent most of Thanksgiving either playing games online or sleeping. After my dad got home from work, we bummed around a while before we went over to my grandparents' about 5pm and got back home about 8pm... in time for my dad to go to bed. Poor guy has to be at work at 3:45am every morning.

My mom and I both slept till about 10am Friday morning. I woke up just in time to see the first half of the UT/A&M game until halftime when I passed out on the couch again. By the time I woke up from that nap I was feeling pretty crappy. After my dad came home from work, we ate dinner and then my mother and I went back to my grandparents' house to visit them after dad went to bed. We stayed there until about midnight and then we stayed up way too late last night watching a movie.

I woke up this morning about 5am attempting to cough up a lung. I coughed for hours and hours. About 10am when my mother finally woke up she found some medicine for me and I sat in front of her computer and played games all morning. About 3pm I left to come back to Dallas, still coughing and feeling like crap. I got back about 5:30pm and I packed up a few boxes.

Right now I'm eating a tub of mashed potatoes from Popeye's and popping antibiotics and praying I am feeling better tomorrow. I have to go apartment hunting and hopefully sign a lease tomorrow. I have 22 days to get out of my apartment... I'm running out of time and I'm trying to run off the Holiday Bug.
