Cryyiyyiying... Over You.

Ok. let me put on my Roy Orbison glasses before you see my red and puffy eyes.
I went to my chiropractor this morning. I showed her the report from the MRI and
told her that my neurologist had called and scheduled another MRI for next
Tuesday. She said the condition that the MRI results showed compatability with
would basically explain every complaint I came to her with... including some of
my migraines. Then she basically told me to start mentally preparing myself to
have surgery before the end of the year. If the neurologist suggests the
surgery, like my chiropractor has predicted then the link above will explain the
procedure that I will probably end up having some time in October. I will have
to take a quarter off from school and have the surgery, recover and attempt to
get back to work between September 21st and January 9th. I have seen this blog
community work some miracles in the past few months. Kristine, Misfit, Nessa,
RSG... a lot of us have gone thru a lot and I'm amazed at what wonderful people
you can meet on the internet and care about but never actually meet them. So, I
prayerfully and wishfully ask that all of your good vibes, good ideas, positive
thoughts and prayers be sent up to the heavens to get me thru this. Thank you.

Its gonna be ok hon, M's grandfather just survived brain surgery at Nana's age.
YOU can do this and finally get on the road to recovery. Hell of a birthday
present huh? I'll be in Texas to hold your hand cuz, Love you!

Thank you all. To say that I'm scared, is an understatement. I'm not scared of
the possibility of not waking up... its the overwhelming possibility of waking
up and having to go thru recovery.

I'm trying not to think about it too much until I have the 2nd MRI and go to my
neurologist on Friday. My parents are planning on coming to Dallas to go to that
appointment with me.

would you stop freaking out? recovery is nothing - you sit on your bed for a few
weeks & chill out. geez girl - be thankful that you may have an answer to your
maladies!!!
