Bridges To Healing

I feel like I'm sitting at the edge of the "TheArmpitOfHell" Suspension Bridge, getting
ready to find out what is on the other side. In about 2 1/2 hours my mother will
be here and we will start our long weekend of doctors.. questions and hopefully
some answers. My neurologist appointment is at 3:15 and my chiropractor is at
5:00 (or as soon as we can get there). After an afternoon of doctors I am going
to go home to "TheArmpitOfHell" for the weekend. I have had a pretty bad week, symptom-wise,
and I'm in need of some R&R and some hugs and kisses from my babies, Zack and
Zane. I'll be back in "TheArmpitOfHell" on Sunday in time to eat dinner with my friend,
OldApartment, who is in town on business, and finish cleaning up the apartment
and homework. Monday starts another week of unknowns. I have my 1st neurosurgeon
appointment at 10:40. Tuesday I am scheduled for my late birthday present to
myself.. a massage. Wednesday is an appointment with a 2nd neurosurgeon for a
second opinion. If we think we need one, I will be scheduling my 3rd opinion
appointment in Houston at SillyNessa's neurosurgeon. I am hoping that I know
something.. anything... by Monday. I am tired of the wait and the unknown. I'm
ready to cross this bridge... even if I have to jump off the suspension bridge
naked (like all the fraternity guys at Baylor used to do for their birthdays.)

Enjoy your birthday weekend. And while you're at it, I can think of a better
means of R & R.. WATCH the frat boys jump off the bridge naked.. I knew they had
some purpose in life.

(Just ignore the fact that they are they are younger than my brother. As long as
they're not related, you can ogle all you want!)
