All Twisted Up with a Bowl full of the Amish, French and Quickies

Here Ye, Here Ye. It is again time for the weekly Baking Post. The more time I
spend in this class the more I am enjoying working with dough. There is
something so relaxing about the PunchDown step when you can roll your dough into
a ball and visualize someone's face on it while you punch the holy crap out of
it. Last night we got twisted up... Amish Style.
Amish-Style Pretzels
We made Bowls full of Whole Wheat

Baggettes fait que Rêvé en français (Made Baggettes that Dreamed in French.)

And then we got to pick our poison when it came to the quickie.... (we got to
pick from Banana, Strawberry, Pumpkin or Zucchini Quick Breads)

It was a good night, although we didn't leave class until 11:30 (an hour late)
which just made it that much later I had to stay up to get my newest Pogo Badge.
I brought home a baggette, three pretzels and a bread bowl. Now I just gotta
figure out what to cook to go with them tomorrow.

You know, I enjoyed the baking much more at school, but I just don't care for it
that much.

Too many rules.

Just give me some random ingredients and a good saute pan any day!

Thanks so much for the encouragement. We'll do it together.

You and I must get married FTVStar. I need a woman who can cook like this.

That looks absolutely delicious. I think you do have a future IMHO. :)

Cheers.
