My Weekend to Bum
Well, I survived last week and made it to the weekend. How did I reward myself?
By doing as close to nothing as possible. I did manage to get my laundry done
and my apartment clean. I did manage to wake up in time for the Comcast guy to
come fix my DVR/Cablebox so that I could watch tv. I did watch 2 full two-hour
episodes of Movie and a Makeover. About 3:00 my cousin, OfficerB, called and
said that she would be in town soon and that I should come eat dinner with her
and two of the four other bridesmaids for her upcoming nuptuals (see countdown
above). I got dressed and fought traffic to DeSoto and we ate dinner at the
Olive Garden. Then OfficerB and I went shopping in Plano. We hit WorldMarket,
Pier 1 Imports and JCPenney. Unfortunately, about 4 minutes after we walked into
JCPenney they came on the loud speaker and told us that they would be closing in
5 minutes. Well that sucks. Sunday, I finished cleaning my apartment, did a
couple of assignments for my online class and that was about it. It was nice to
not do anything at all for more than 15 minutes, and I hope I enjoyed it enough,
because I've got finals this week and then I have to finish those two papers by
the 25th.
